Gojek’s Super App vision - design a platform that can rapidly solve problems at scale - has been put to the ultimate test during COVID. As nations in Southeast moved quickly to enforce mass social distancing efforts, many Gojek partners who rely on the platform for their very livelihood were made vulnerable. Overnight, fears around safety and hygiene became paramount for its millions of users. Needs and behaviors changed. So the Super App - and the thousands of individuals behind it - got to work.
