Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara graduated from Medical School, Prince of Songkla University in 1995, and joined the Specialty training in Internal Medicine at Prince of Songkla University Hospital, Thailand. He started working as Residency and a lecturer of Internal Medicine Unit at Prince of Songkla University Hospital in 1997. Later, he moved to Phuket and worked as medical doctor at Siriroj Hospital. His professional at Bangkok Hospital Phuket started in year 1999, when he was assigned to Executive Representative for Quality Management (QMR), and Infectious Control Physician. He was also appointed in charge of IT manager during that time. In 2002, he was promoted to Assistant Hospital Director, Human Resources and Quality Management, and to Deputy Hospital Director in charge of Operational Management in year 2005. He has been appointed Hospital Director as well as board of director of Bangkok Hospital Phuket from year 2006 to 2010. Currently, he is CEO group 3 of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (PLC) BDMS to manage 5 hospitals in Eastern Thailand. In 2003 He was granted the awards of excellence research project by Thai Research Fund: Hospital Informatics System for small rural Hospitals. In 2007 Hospital Management Award (Private Hospital Sector) by Thai Hospital Management Association. In 2008 this project also recognised by Foundation for Research in Information Technology. Hospital OS project won the 3rd IT Princess Awards.
